“Strike” allegations are prior felony convictions added to a felony charging document that meet the definition set forth in Penal Code sections 1192.7 and 667.5(c). If you have a strike allegation, you allegedly have already been convicted of a qualifying strike. This doubles the possible sentence on the current charge.
